Sara Lee Corporation has announced the sale of Bimbo Spain and Portugal to Bimbo Mexico (a company with which it shares its name but to which it is not administratively bound). The agreement, as the conglomerate stated in a memo, affects all brands of fresh bread products of Sara Lee in Spain and Portugal, and comprises 7 factories: Cantabria, Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Guadalajara and two more in Portugal.
